REAL ID mandate resisted in Virginia
Washington Times

"Two pieces of legislation for consideration when lawmakers return to Richmond on Jan. 14 call for Virginia to ignore the federal mandate to come into compliance with the Real ID Act by the end of 2009.

Similar bills went nowhere last year, but supporters say the looming deadline gives the issue new urgency."

Coalition building against Real ID is MUCH easier if you approach the problem as a whole, to include the theological and religious angles with legislators. You will discover some have introduced legislation to DISconnect the SSN from such things as state licenses of various types. These issues are indeed MARRIED, and building a coalition of law-makers who are likely to be sympathetic toward the 'religious liberty' angle is one more excellent strategy in our campaigns.

When you browse the biographies of legislators, you will find MANY of them are 'deacons' in assorted churches, or have other leadership titles connected to their faith background. I have not found a single member of ANY legislature who has not heard about the 'mark of the beast' and similar prophetic scenarios. It is up to US to show them how some theologies see the walls closing in on them because of the SSN/Real ID & World Order missions.

To get a handle on the implications of Real ID combined with the OVERUSE of the SSN in our national 'identity crisis,' you should also familiarize yourself with this article: http://www.amishnews.com/amisharticles/amishss.htm You will discover that the 'Old Order Amish' have been 'exempted' from SSN’s since the battle in the courts in the 1950's!

Now – not all of us are ready to take the deep faith walk of separatism from society required to be totally divorced from our SSN’s, etc. (but some are!). Regardless, if you are an activist on Real ID, you should at least be familiar with the subject matter. It equips you MUCH better to approach preachers, legislators with faith, and people in church parking lots. (As you begin learning about this angle, you may also begin seeing the picture more clearly on a PERSONAL level. If so, it behooves our network to help strengthen each other for the battles ahead!)

Tonight we are going to drill down on these specifics, and learn how to apply them in our contacts in state capitols (and perhaps in our lives)! At some point in the future, it would be nice to have Mr. Miller (the author of the first piece) on with us. For tonight it is uncertain if we will have any guest speakers. See you there!

Virginia is running away with top "activist" honors for this week. They are planning a full on RALLY in Richmond -- so we will get an update on their progress, along with other Mid-Atlantic developments from our team leaders in each state.

the government will have you all microchipped by May 11, 2008

corporate/government media blackout on one of the most significant and repressive laws of this country's history -
REAL ID ACT -- HR418

do you want to be microchipped so the government can track your every move and store all private information about you in a secret database?
then don't accept this law which calls for all citizens to have a national ID card embedded with an RFID chip.

this is how bad it is .....
"At least 33 states are pushing for laws or resolutions blocking the program, the Senate recently held hearings on its implications for civil liberties, and the Department of Homeland Security's own privacy department gave the initiative the thumbs-down."

go here

to get e-mail of your representatives
staffers - it'll get to them quicker this way.
tell them you oppose this unconstitutional law.

sample:

Dear Senator Lautenberg,

I firmly oppose bill HR418
or the REAL ID ACT which
was recently signed into
law.

This law violates the 4th
amendment of the constitution
and is a violation of state's
rights.

i demand that you immediately
make moves to repeal this
law and stand up for your
constituents.

Thank you,
