Thanks for the link to my article on meat packaging. It is always rewarding to see my efforts to educate get picked up and passed on.
The article on the FDA and irradiation of greens is timely also. I explained it to some kids the other day and one of them said. "So they don't care if there is animal poop on the lettuce as long as the germs are dead? EWWWWW! Why can't we just get lettuce without animal poop in the first place?"
Out of the mouths of babes! hehe.

It certainly makes me feel safer as a vegetarian.
